  • 5 year housing land supply

Reside promoted 3 hectares of land off High Beech Lane, Lindfield for residential development.

The site was not allocated in the neighbourhood or local plan and had been previously promoted for housing on several occasions, unsuccessfully.

An application was submitted in May 2017 to Mid Sussex District Council and a resolution to grant planning for 46 homes was achieved in September 2017. Reside achieved permission by overcoming a number of constraints and also because the local authority was unable to demonstrate that they had a 5 year housing land supply.

The site was sold to Croudace Homes in 2018
